# Maestro Theme Scheduler

_Automate scheduling for sections, blocks, and theme publishing_

Publish a theme, show a section, hide a banner — at a date and time you pick, on a schedule that repeats. Set the campaign up once and let it run while you are asleep.

## Campaigns do not launch at office hours

A sale that starts at midnight means someone publishes it at midnight. Every seasonal change is the same manual job, done under time pressure.

- **Publishing a theme by hand at 3am for a launch** → Schedule the publish and go to bed
- **A Black Friday banner still up in December** → Set the end time when you set the start time
- **Duplicating a theme for every promotion** → One theme, sections that come and go on a schedule
- **Retyping the same promotion every week or every month** → Recurring schedules that repeat hourly, daily, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly

## What it schedules

Everything you would otherwise change by hand in the theme editor.

- **Theme publishing**: Pick a theme and a moment. It goes live then, whether or not anyone is watching.
- **Section and block visibility**: Show or hide any section or block on a schedule, down to the minute.
- **Content updates**: Swap banners, images, slideshows and promotional copy automatically.
- **Recurring schedules**: Hourly, daily, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Set the pattern once and it keeps running.
- **Store timezone**: Schedules run in your store's timezone, so 9am means 9am to your customers.
- **History log**: Every scheduled change is recorded with its outcome, so you can see exactly what ran and when.

## Three steps, then it runs itself

- **Pick what changes**: Choose the theme, section or block you want to appear, disappear or go live.
- **Pick when**: A one-off date and time, or a pattern that repeats. End times are optional but usually the point.
- **Leave it**: The schedule fires in your store's timezone. You get a record of what ran.

## What merchants use it for

- **Flash sales**: A sale section that appears at midnight and is gone by breakfast, without anyone setting an alarm.
- **Seasonal storefronts**: Holiday theme up on the first, down on the last — both times set when you build the campaign.
- **Product launches**: The launch theme goes live at the exact minute the campaign email lands.
- **Regional timing**: Content that changes on your store's clock rather than whichever timezone you happen to be in.

## Questions merchants ask

### Does it change my theme code?

No. It works through Shopify's theme APIs, so nothing is injected into your theme and nothing is left behind if you uninstall.

### What happens if my store is busy when a schedule fires?

The change is applied through Shopify the same way a manual publish is. There is no storefront script and no impact on page speed.

### Which timezone do schedules run in?

Your store's timezone, taken from your Shopify settings — so a schedule set for 9am fires at 9am for your customers.

### Can a schedule repeat?

Yes. A schedule can repeat hourly, daily, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly, either for a set number of occurrences or until you stop it.

### Can I see what it did?

Yes. Every scheduled action is written to a history log with its outcome, so you can confirm a change ran and when it ran.

## Stop publishing themes at midnight

Set the schedule once. It runs whether or not you are at your desk.
